- Managing sign off and change deliveries as part of the Agile Framework for User testing, supporting the risk approach to deliver quality software, code, and processes to help to make our customers best happen
- Analysing skills to assess information and technical functional build documentation including process analysis reports to support the delivery of the
business objectives for user testing - Forecasting and Planning effort of workloads and effort against delivery dates to ensuring it is effectively allocated and brings benefit to the change management process
- Managing Build and Maintaining strong relationships for the support in the delivery of the deployments to live. Communicating and managing expectations of internal and external Stakeholders across the Bank
- Experience in leading & working closely with automation testers, with technical experience in creating & facilitating quality test script and test execution for the support in the delivery of deployments to live. A high degree of experience of managing system and technical testing including planning, resource management and issue management
- A high-level experience in the use of testing tools and change management processes and demonstrable knowledge of concept and principles of agile methodology: ability to apply appropriate agile approaches in the processes of with software development & CI/CD practices
- Agile Certification
- Knowledge of API/Microservices & App Development
- Knowledge of Atlassian tools (Jira/Confluence) & how to leverage their
reporting capabilities - Good organisational and prioritisation skills. Confident communicator with the ability to cope with a fast-paced environment. Ability to identify, analyse and solve complex information issues with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail and suggest solutions to management
- Eligible for a discretionary performance-related annual bonus
- We put 8% of salary into your pension, even if you don’t contribute yourself
- We’ll pay in up to 12.5% of salary, if you contribute as well, and you can take some of our contribution in cash if you prefer
- 30 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, which increases to 31 days after 5yrs service, with the option to purchase up to 5 contractual days per year

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic IT Testing Lead to join our dynamic team within the Financial Support IT department. This department plays a crucial role in supporting customers who are facing financial difficulties and require our bank's assistance. By joining us, you will not only have the chance to help these customers but also ensure that our bank's commitments are met.
In this high-profile role, you’ll be responsible for the leading of the testing
strategies, aligning resource in the management of testing preparation and execution. It is an important role accountable for protecting and minimising risk to both the customers and the Operational areas following the deployment to live, whilst supporting the IT and San UK change process.The role is complex, diverse and requires both an in-depth technical knowledge and the ability to identify and manage risks levels combined with a high level of people and stakeholder management skills. Driving leadership in the management of a team of testers and supporting the BAU Project & Change Management delivery requirements to mitigate and remove risks of software delivery.

This is a 24-month based contract role based in Milton Keynes, with an expectation of working at least 2 days a week in the office.
