      As The Monument’s Social Media Content Creator, you will be responsible for thinking strategically and collaboratively in helping to shape the social media strategy of The Monument. Your job duties will include creating and crafting engaging and compelling content across various social media platforms to boost brand awareness, increase fan engagement, and drive ticket sales. You will collaborate closely with and report to the Advertising Strategist to develop strategies that align with The Monument’s objectives and resonate with the target audience. Creativity, strong communication skills, and a deep understanding of social media trends are essential for success in this role.

      Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
      • Develop creative strategy, brainstorming, and storyboarding to achieve high-quality, original content (including text, images, videos, and graphics) for social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.
      • Ideate, produce, and post content that encourages audience interaction, shares, likes, and comments and are in alignment with brand voice, values, and goals.
      • Live event editing building highlights, recaps, and short videos using real time behind the scenes footage.
      • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop social media content calendars and schedules.
      • Research and stay updated on social media trends, industry best practices, and emerging platforms.
      • Analyze data and insights to optimize content performance and inform future strategies.
      • Actively manage social media campaigns and monitor those channels for comments, messages, mentions, and respond promptly and appropriately when necessary.
      • Work with various organizational departments to ideate and plan how social supports campaign objectives.
      • Create and maintain a library of visual assets (photos, videos, graphics) for use in social media and future marketing campaigns to be developed in collaboration with the Advertising Strategist.
      • Support marketing campaigns by creating and sharing original content that aligns with campaign objectives.
      • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws including but not limited to Manager on Duty responsibilities, overseeing part-time staff, etc.

      Education and Experience:
      • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field (or equivalent experience).
      • A combination of education and experience deemed appropriate to fulfill the role and responsibilities of this position will be considered.
      Other Skills and Abilities:
      • Proven experience as a social media content creator or similar role.
      • Out-of-the-box thinker with a knack for storytelling.
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
      • Strong copywriting and editing abilities.
      • Knowledge of graphic design principles and experience with design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
      • Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights) to track and measure social media performance.
      • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
      • Tech-savvy and proficient in navigating social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, you name it!).
