Job Description
- Req#: 67761
-
Fabrication and optimization of perovskite solar cells based on carbon electrodes with low carbon footprint. This research is a critical step towards terawatt-scale production.
-
Another important area of research is the encapsulation of perovskite solar cells and the analysis of cell performance evolution under real indoor and outdoor aging conditions.
-
In addition, we are working on the fabrication of flexible solar cells, including tandem architectures. Our goal is to increase the market potential of perovskite solar cells by applying cost-effective printing processes.
-
As part of your job, you will fabricate and optimize highly efficient perovskite solar cells.
-
You correlate the quality of the deposited layers with the performance of the manufactured solar cells, e.g. by spectroscopic and microscopic methods as well as current-voltage measurements.
-
You interpret your measurement results in an understandable way, summarize them in a comprehensible way and draw conclusions for your next experiments.
-
In the course of your work, you will present your results in internal meetings and exchange scientific information with national and international project partners.
-
You are studying physics, chemistry, materials science or a comparable field.
-
You have a strong analytical mind and a talent for experimental work.
-
You work in a structured and conscientious manner and are motivated to critically analyze your results.
-
Ideally, you already have basic knowledge of solar cell physics.
-
It is important for you to be part of your team, but you also plan and complete tasks independently and with high quality.
-
You have a very good command of English.
-
You will work with one of the most popular employers on a par with the best.
-
Open-minded colleagues are happy to welcome new talents into their ranks.
-
We offer flexible working time models and give you the opportunity to work from home at times.
-
We also foster a cooperative working atmosphere and open communication.
-
We value equal opportunities and allow room for diversity.
-
You can participate in attractive sports and health programs and after-work activities.
