      Essential Duties and Responsibilities

      1. Implement, modify, and document assembly processes.

      2. Assist project execution, conduct experiments, collect and report results

      3. Assist new processes and new component qualification

      4. Design, implement, and modify tooling for process improvement

      5. Provide support to engineering staff and management as needed.

      6. Follow and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.

      7. Understand. Create. Simplify.

      8. Other duties as assigned.

      Required Qualifications

      Current student pursuing a degree in an engineering or mathematics field at an accredited institution

      Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills
      Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
      Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
      Background check results satisfactory to SEL
      Negative drug test result(s)


      Preferred Qualifications
      Experience troubleshooting process machinery problems
      Experience writing and/or conducting Design of Experiments
      Working knowledge of basic analog and digital electronics
      Working knowledge of electronics industry manufacturing processes and machinery
      Familiarity with modern test equipment
