      Job Title: Tooling Designer


      Job Description

      Manage a portfolio of 6+ tooling/fixture projects simultaneously. Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and charters. Communicate project status, risks, and updates to internal stakeholders and clients. Coordinate closely with design teams in India and Mexico. Gather and translate client requirements into actionable tasks for design teams. Support both New Product Introduction (NPI) and continuous improvement requests from production facilities. Prepare and deliver client-facing status reports and presentations.

      Responsibilities

      • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and charters
      • Communicate project status, risks, and updates to internal stakeholders and clients
      • Coordinate closely with design teams in India and Mexico

      Essential Skills

      • Proven experience managing technical or capital projects
      • Strong understanding of tooling, fixtures, or fabrication processes
      • Ability to interpret technical designs and provide meaningful feedback
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
      • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
      • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-project environment

      Additional Skills & Qualifications

      • Prior experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
      • Exposure to capital project processes
      • Shop floor or fabrication experience
      • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus, but not required

      Work Environment

      The role requires working closely with design teams in India and Mexico, managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is essential. There is no requirement for MS Project or other project management software. The environment is dynamic and will involve both New Product Introduction (NPI) and continuous improvement requests from production facilities. While bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are a plus, they are not required.

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $65.00/hr.
