- Primary responsibility is to execute demand generation to drive incremental growth with large producers in the geography;
- Build incremental value by fulfilling specific customer needs thought tailored solutions;
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all Bayer related products including seed and traits, crop protection, seed applied solutions, Climate FieldView and ForGround;
- This includes ensuring that customers have full knowledge of our existing product line, as well as introduction & education on new product offerings;
- Develop an area plan to optimize sales and growth in alignment with marketing strategy financial and product forecasting, resource allocation, tracking, reporting within budget;
- Communicate and collaborate with managers (Bayer Field Sales Reps, Technical Agronomist and Partner Seller & Strategic Accounts) across all Bayer brands to maximize sales;
- Pilot and implement new offerings/solutions to a sub-set of accounts as required;
- Organize and coordinate with subject matter experts across all functions;
- Establish relationships with 3rd party value/service providers as needed;
- Ensure stakeholder responsibilities are established and executed according plan; negotiations, operations, dealer activities, communications etc.;
- Collaborate with Agronomy team to ensure product/technical knowledge is transferred to the producers.
- Bachelor's Degree;
- Extensive, relevant commercial experience;
- Sales, marketing, and/or account management experience;
- Financial, time, and territory management proficiency;
- Demonstrated knowledge of agricultural systems and experience working in the seed industry ;
- Advanced computer and presentation skills (user level proficiencies in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook);
- Valid driver’s license, ability to pass driving record background check, maintain a safe driving record and MAY require ability to obtain a DOT driving clearance.
- Master's Degree or MBA;
- Degrees in Agronomy, agriculture, business, biology or related life science field;
- Dairy & Silage knowledge and experience;
- 8+ years relevant commercial agriculture experience.

Top Producer Account Manager - MI,OH,PA,IN
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As the Top Producer Sales Account Manager (TPAM) you will be responsible for effectively building long term business relationships, delivering “Best In Class” customer experience and create demand generation with 35 key farm operations in MI, OH, PA & north IN. These key growers will have farm operations with about 10,000 row crop acres of corn & soybeans. This geography does cover prime dairy country, so dairy and silage knowledge would be ideal. In this role, you will support and drive demand for the entire Bayer Crop Science portfolio inclusive of seed, crop protection, seed treatment, Climate FieldView & ForGround.
This role is Residence Based in the geography and will report to the Bayer US Grower Strategy Lead.
