All below responsibilities require extensive collaboration across multiple key stakeholders in our Sales and Finance organizations
Develop and evolve everyday price and promotional investment effectiveness reporting across customers and products, using internal TPM and IRI in-market data. Use reporting to identify and implement in-market and/or profit improvement opportunities
Manage the annual and ongoing Trade Funding rate allocation process to Customer/Product level
Be a central resource for annual and ongoing trade funding and trade spending analysis and reporting, applying analytics and financial knowledge to guide trade funding decisions
Facilitate consistent implementation, execution, tracking and reporting of incremental trade and pricing investments across Sales stakeholders
Be the central resource for annual and ongoing maintenance of Sales Planning Pricing/Promotion Guidance (SPDs) and associated trade funding levels/guardrails
Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, marketing or similar field required; or MBA
5+ years of business experience; 3+ years of CPG experience
Knowledge of grocery retailer base with experience in Pricing Strategy, Trade Marketing/Sales Strategy or similar
Experience in Microsoft Excel (can perform complex functions) and Power BI
Knowledge of syndicated data (e.g. IRI, Nielsen) and its nuances
Experience working with and persuading stakeholders at levels senior to you, and participating in meetings and group discussions with individuals from different parts of the organization (e.g. Pricing, Business Development, Field Sales, Finance)
Experience performing - and sometimes autonomously developing - complex analyses, and determine basic analyses required to support multiple teams in their Trade Funding decisions (e.g. structure the problem, collect data, identify issues and present results and recommendations)
Experience working and excelling within an environment that is not always black and white; you must be comfortable in an environment where answers are not always obvious and sometimes require open-ended analyses to produce a business recommendation
Experience managing multiple stage projects to completion

As an important member of our Revenue Management team reporting to the SVP Revenue Management, you will be responsible for reporting and analyses enabling the holistic evaluation of everyday price and promotional investment performance across our customer base. Leverage reporting to facilitate development of customer and product investment adjustments, optimizing in-market performance and profitability. Be the central resource for managing Trade Funding from annual planning through monthly/quarterly reconciliation and rate adjustment. Coordinate the execution and tracking of strategic price and promotional investments. Manage Merchandising, Assortment, Pricing and Shelving (MAPS) guidance used to guide field Sales teams customer plans. You will manage one Trade Strategy Analyst.
