We are looking for a person to join of one of Millennium’s Diversified Volatility trading teams as a Trading Operations Analyst. The team is led by two senior PMs, who have worked together for nearly 18 years at different firms and joined MLP in 2018.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily trade life cycle management including stage stock orders, book voice trades, ensure trades are accurately captured in meteorite and quasar risk systems, and final end of day trade reconciliation.
• Daily reporting and risk reconciliations, ensuring that any items that require urgent attention are flagged.
• Manage internal book transfers and bookings.
• Over-the-counter post trade management of IA and paper documents.
• Monitor and process position life cycle events like dividends, early exercises and expiry.
• Maintain and create of custom indexes and security databases.
• Collaborate with MLP departments (Compliance, Risk, Operations, PNL, Finance etc.) to resolve internal issues.
• Act as process owner for current functionality and provide critical support regarding improvements to technology, workflows and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in finance, economics, or a related field
• 3-5+ years of Experience in derivative trade support
• Technical knowledge of derivative products including but not limited to Options, Futures, Var/Vol swaps and Total Return Swaps (TRS)
• Strong excel skills
• Self-starter, good interpersonal skills and team player
• Attention to detail and accuracy; organized
• Programming skills including Python and Excel VBA

Millennium pays a total compensation package which includes a base salary, discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package. The estimated base salary range for this position is $70,000 to $160,000, which is specific to New York and may change in the future. When finalizing an offer, we take into consideration an individual’s experience level and the qualifications they bring to the role to formulate a competitive total compensation package.
