What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Prepare PENNDOT highway occupancy permits, including necessary research, writing, drawing, and design calculations
- Conduct research for transportation reports and code requirements
- Perform traffic counts and courthouse research
- Assist in preparing traffic impact studies and construction plans for highways and traffic signals
- Collaborate with team members on various transportation projects

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with a transportation/highway/traffic emphasis
- E.I.T. certification
- 0-2 years of experience working on projects related to traffic signalization, traffic studies, and highway design
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid U.S. Driver's License and the legal right to work in the U.S.

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous internship experience with a consulting engineering firm
- Working familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Microstation
- Experience with traffic software, such as HCS or Synchro
