We are looking to recruit Trainee Education mental health practitioners. This is a training position and the post holder will be undertaking the training at the University of Derby alongside working in the Mental Health Support Team.
The role is specific and involves offering Low Intensity interventions based on Cognitive Behavioural Techniques for Children and Young People. All applicants will need to meet the criteria laid out by the University of Derby to access the training course - either post graduate or graduate.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering, under supervision, high-quality; outcome-informed, focused, evidence-based interventions for children and young people experiencing, mild to moderate anxiety, low mood and behavioural difficulties.
The Mental Health Support Teams are currently based in two sites across the locality. These are Stoke, the Staffordshire Moorlands and North Staffordshire.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of a developing service with high expectations for improving the outcomes for children and families in Stoke on Trent and Staffordshire.
