      Job Title: Trainee nurse Associate

      Location: The Sidcup Care Home, 2 - 8 Hatherley Road, Sidcup, Kent, DA14 4BG

      Salary range: £11.10 - £12.58 p/h

      Contract: Permanent

      Shift Pattern: 36 hours / days and nights (some weekends)

      Our Trainee Nursing Associate position is a developmental role. You'll be working towards an NMC Registered Nursing Associate qualification. This is facilitated both on the job and distance learning through an approved University and will take approximately 2 years to complete. Upon successful completion of the qualification we'll offer you a Nursing Associate role. Giving you the opportunity to apply your new skills in a real work environment.

      You’ll help us make health happen by:

      Deliver high-quality person-centred care in line with personal care plans under the supervision of a Registered Nurse

      Perform and record clinical observations such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature blood sugar monitoring, oxygen stats and recognise any abnormalities which must then be reported to a registered nurse

      Share information with registered nurses on any changes in health, behaviour, mood etc of a resident

      Accurately record repositioning chart, nutritional and fluid intake papers

      Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:

      Verbal and Written English to NMC required level

      English and Maths qualification equivalent to GCSE grade C or above

      Communication and relationship building

      Analytical and Judgement skills

      Planning and Organisation – particularly in relation to planning study and work time around personal life
