Job Description

- Develop and implement training programs and materials
- Conduct and facilitate training workshops leveraging existing challenge content
- Conduct walk-throughs of the workshop content to assist participants in completing the challenges for training purposes.
- Organize and conduct additional workshops, webinars, and hands-on training sessions as needed.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to create relevant and up-to-date content.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary improvements.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to competition participants.
- Track and report on training activities and participant progress.
- Record workshops and store them for future consumption as directed.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the cybersecurity community.
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Training and Development, Cybersecurity, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus. Relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in training and development, preferably in the cybersecurity field.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, tools, and techniques.
- Experience in designing and delivering training programs and materials.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.

Pay Rate: $35 - $75 per hour
Ops Tech Alliance (OTA) is seeking a dynamic and experienced Training and Development Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cybersecurity education and a talent for creating engaging and effective training programs. This role involves developing and delivering training materials, organizing workshops, and providing support to participants throughout the competition and program lifecycle. This position has part-time opportunities available.
