Your primary role is to lead a team that includes supervisors, administrative staff, instructional designers and training specialists both locally and remotely across multiple markets.
You should be in regular contact with individuals at all levels of the organization on a variety of learning and development issues in an effort to enable business performance.
You will lead professional skills improvement, soft-skills training, and technical training programs on an organization-wide basis for our business units.
You will work on the design and presentation of training
You will develop and manage our learning platforms
You will collaborate with senior leadership across the organization.
A key part of this role will be to direct and manage cross-functional committees and supervise the design and implementation of their training programs with the intent of promoting improved member service and workforce performance through professional development and interdepartmental business process improvements.
You’ll be involved with regularly making decisions involving the direction of major projects, implementing plans that affect the strategic direction of assigned projects.
B.A. in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Training or Insurance or equivalent combination of work experience and education required. MA/MBA preferred.
To thrive in this role, you will have experience working in a multi-state environment, with learners in numerous geographies and time zones.
Experience in developing a training curriculum and multiple content areas for a multi- state audience, with a high degree collaboration with multi-state team members.
Certificates from ATD or similar organizations preferred.
Insurance related professional designations preferred.
SHRM-SCP/ SPHR preferred.
3+ years in administering learning and development programs.
3+ years in managing employees and/or supervisors.
3+ years in Instructional Design.
Instructional Design certifications a plus.
Proven skills in project management.
LMS knowledge.

The starting pay range for this position is:
$104,400.00 - $139,200.00Additionally, you will be eligible to participate in our incentive program based upon the achievement of organization, team and personal performance.
