      Transaction Management Specialist – Project Finance & Infrastructure Lending for EMEA – Associate

      The transaction management team is known as Credit Products Delivery team, a middle office transaction management partner for clients of the Corporate & Investment Bank (‘CIB’), Commercial Bank (‘CB’) and Global Trade Finances Businesses. Credit Products Delivery provides expertise in the review of facility documentation and end-to-end transaction management for Loans (and Traditional Trade Finance products). The Credit Products Delivery team partners closely with JPMorgan's client coverage and credit risk teams, in addition to internal/external legal counsel and facility agents.

      Job responsibilities:

      • Deliver best-in-class documentation execution of Project and Infrastructure Finance facilities in the EMEA region, including coordination of deal closing;
      • In close partnership with Bankers, Credit Risk, internal Legal and other relevant stakeholders, review and coordinate the negotiation of legal documentation for Project Finance and Infrastructure financings;
      • Regular liaison with external counsel, sponsors, advisors, and facility agents communicating and negotiating JPM due diligence and documentation matters;
      • Draw on transactional expertise to suggest solutions for stakeholders (Bankers, Infrastructure Advisory, Tax, Ops etc) as necessary, ensuring they are brought into the discussion in a timely manner;
      • Manage the internal controls framework, reporting and escalation procedures for transaction execution, including preparing and coordinating the approval of documentation deviations during negotiations;
      • Actively contribute to and drive wider WLS projects & initiatives.

      Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

      • Strong understanding of LMA loan documentation and Project Finance loan and auxiliary documentation (Intercreditor agreements, security documents, direct agreements, account agreements, project documents, shareholder/equity documents, Conditions Precedent, etc), including most frequently negotiated provisions;
      • Good familiarity with Project Finance-related due diligence;
      • Solid understanding of credit execution, transaction management, and banking processes;
      • Ability to identify problems/issues, and escalate promptly;
      • Proven organization skills, and ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines, including strong prioritization skills;
      • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills; ability to interact professionally and confidently with deal team members globally;
      • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing business and technology environment;

      Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

      • Language skills are welcome.
      • Good working knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
