What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct audits and refund reviews for transaction privilege and use tax across various jurisdictions
- Prepare working papers and recommendations for audit memorandums
- Perform in-person field audits, including potential travel in and out of state
- Research and resolve taxpayer appeals accurately and fairly
- Educate taxpayers on tax laws, rules, and compliance during the audit process

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum two (2) years of audit-related experience
- Valid Arizona Driver’s License
- Knowledge of transaction privilege and use tax laws, policies, and procedures
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and tax reporting/accounting systems

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a closely related field
- Experience with Continuous Improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma or LEAN
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
