      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

      - Execute complex technical tasks associated with release from active duty, discharge, retirement, or physical disability separation of Army Soldiers

      - Maintain liaison with other community service providers and coordinate with serviced units and military chain of command

      - Identify transitioning Soldiers, determine eligibility for separation pay, and prepare separation documents

      - Conduct desk-side SBP counseling with retiring Soldiers and spouses and assist with command retirement ceremonies

      - Consolidate transition documents for disposition and shipment to multiple agencies and maintain administrative office files

      What is Required (Qualifications):

      - At least two years of experience in military personnel service support (PSS) or Associate of Arts degree combined with one year of experience

      - Knowledge of military personnel automation systems and personal computer operation

      - Understanding of public laws and Department of Defense (DoD) and Army governing directives

      - Proficiency in automated HR systems and records management procedures

      - Strong communication and organizational skills

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

      - Experience in military personnel service support (PSS) or customer service in a military-related field

      - Familiarity with military personnel benefits and entitlements

      - Knowledge of CSB REDUX administration and U.S. Army Reserve and Army National Guard retention contracting procedures

      - Ability to navigate and utilize military personnel automation systems effectively

      - Strong attention to detail and ability to handle short-notice adverse separations
