      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Review medical records to accurately abstract and record registry data in compliance with established guidelines
      - Collect, analyze, and prepare reports on clinical data for quality improvement and research activities
      - Ensure confidentiality of patient data and adhere to HIPAA compliance policies
      - Collaborate with medical staff and external data sources to support registry activities
      - Maintain required reports, records, and logs for operational and compliance purposes

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in nursing, health information management, or related field
      - Minimum 2 years of experience in healthcare (clinical/medical/trauma) with comprehensive knowledge of quality assessment
      - RN - Registered Nurse licensure or equivalent upon hire preferred
      - Familiarity with classification systems for documenting diagnoses and treatment
      - Ability to maintain professional credentials and keep current with clinical principles and trends

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Certifications such as RHIA, RHIT, CPC, CPC-H, CCS, CCRS, or CSTR upon hire preferred
      - Experience with data analysis and statistical reporting in a healthcare setting
      - Knowledge of registry activities and coding processes
      - Strong communication and collaboration skills with healthcare professionals
      - Proficient in utilizing computer and information systems for data management
