- The trainer consultant supports client agencies as they work toward becoming trauma informed and provides direct service including training and consultation for client agencies.
- Provide training in childhood brain development and mental health interventions to educators across the United States.
- Training in trauma informed models will be provided.
- Missouri licensure preferred but not required.
- Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling.
- Knowledge of Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT), early childhood, education, Attachment, Self-Regulation, and Competency (ARC), Spanish or other languages is a plus.
- Must have a clean driving record and applicable vehicle insurance

The Opportunity:
Saint Luke’s Crittenton Children’s Center in South Kansas City, MO is seeking a Trauma Smart Trainer to join their Community Programs & Prevention team.
Trauma Smart is an innovative, evidence-based model of trauma-informed practice, utilized by teachers, parents and mental health providers. We work with elementary & secondary schools, Head Starts and other early childhood programs to create safe, healthy environments for children to learn, grow and succeed.
We are looking for a clinically licensed master's level mental health professional to provide supervision for trainers and consultants.Shift: Monday – Friday, day shift. This position requires overnight travel of up to 2-8 nights per month.
