      Job Title: Travel Construction Laborer - $20-23- 133 a day per diem- South Dakota

      Job Description

      We are seeking a construction laborer to support an existing dam project, involving the replacement of a spillway and reinforcing a dam face. This role includes prepping concrete placement, cleaning rebar, assisting with form setting, concrete preparation and placement, and maintaining a clean job site.

      Responsibilities

      • Prepping concrete placement
      • Cleaning rebar
      • Assisting with form setting
      • Assisting with concrete preparation and placement
      • Cleaning up the job site
      • Removing debris from the job site

      Essential Skills

      • General labor experience
      • Experience in construction and concrete work
      • Experience in earthworks and utilities
      • Minimum 1 year of experience on a construction site, preferably in earthwork or utility projects
      • Willingness to travel

      Additional Skills & Qualifications

      • Experience on federally funded projects is an advantage
      • Flexibility to work extended hours

      Work Environment

      The role requires working Monday through Saturday, with 10-12 hour days. A per diem of $133/day is provided for up to 6 days a week. The project is expected to continue through November 2025.

      Job Type & Location

      This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oglala, South Dakota.

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
