What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead the planning and delivery of travel-related systems, including TST, CRM, and GDS
- Gather and translate business rules and requirements to assist with implementation
- Perform data analysis, review files, and map fields to identify business needs
- Manage and communicate problem resolution across various support groups within Travel Services
- Develop and maintain user documentation and resources for travel technologies
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Technology-related discipline, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- 3-5 years of experience with business technologies; travel industry experience is preferred
- Strong knowledge of Travel Technologies and desktop programs (e.g., MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Experience with data mapping and QA testing is strongly preferred
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- CTA certification or completion within one year of hire
- Systems management experience with a strong technical background
- Proficiency in travel systems like Globalware, Travel Syndication Technology (TST), and GDS
- Ability to develop and manage multiple projects while maintaining high-quality results
- Experience communicating technical and operational findings to all levels of management
