What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Speak with consumers over the phone, providing crisis counseling and support
- Build rapport and engage with clients experiencing emotional distress or mental health issues
- Assess risk levels and document information during calls
- Provide necessary resources and information to clients
- Assist in developing safety plans and identifying positive coping strategies

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Graduate degree in a behavioral health field (MSW, PsyD, or PhD) or a clinical practice emphasis (M.A. or M.S.) from an accredited program
- Licensed as a limited or fully licensed social worker or counselor according to state requirements

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in crisis intervention or counseling services
- Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and telephonic counseling
