Job Description

Manage corporate cash position including short-term debt and investments in alignment with treasury and corporate policies.
Execution of short-term investment, commercial paper issuances, credit facility draw-downs and foreign exchange hedging transactions.
Produce a daily cash report to concisely summarize the corporate cash position and identify liquidity risks and opportunities and reconcile previous day forecasts with actuals.
Report on foreign exchange and interest rate exposures quarterly. Implement ongoing hedging strategies to manage the exposures identified.
Oversee the administration of all bank operating accounts, including access to controls over electronic banking.
Participate in annual debt borrowing from the City of Calgary for regulated activities, and contribute to the analysis, communications and negotiations required to issue other external debt required by ENMAX.
Support with long-term debt issuances by completing analysis and documentation as required.
Contribute to credit rating agency reviews and assist with assessing the impact of acquisitions on the corporate credit ratings.
Contribute to investor marketing materials.
Provide quantitative financial analysis and financial modeling support to treasury, business development, corporate development, regulatory and other internal stakeholders.
Assist with all intercompany financings, working in conjunction with Tax and Legal departments.
Maintain and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including banking counterparties.
Act as a resource and provide leadership and training for team members.
University Degree in Business, Commerce, Economics or Math with a minimum of 4 years related experience; or technical diploma with a minimum of 6 years related experience.
Possession of, or pursuit of a CPA, CFA or CTP designation would be considered an asset.
Minimum of 4 years related experience in Treasury, Corporate Finance, or Capital Markets.
Experience and comfort handling highly confidential information pertaining to financing strategy and market relations as it pertains to strategic planning documents.
Advanced and proven Microsoft Office skills. (May be assessed during the interview process).
Strong modelling and analytical skills mixed with a solid understanding of the market.
Experience with a Treasury Management System or Bloomberg is considered an asset.
Requires a motivated, outgoing and results oriented individual.
Someone who is highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
Must be flexible and embrace change with a positive mindset.
Requires strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong team player capable of working in a demanding and fast paced environment.

Salary: Analyst, Level C (CUPE 2024 rates)
$97,206.20 - $103,276.63 - $109,366.89 - $115,437.32 - $121,507.75
Location: This role will be part of our hybrid (home and office) work force with office workspace located at ENMAX Place (141 - 50th Avenue SE, Calgary, AB). You will work from home on Mondays and Fridays and in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
