What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as the primary customer contact in a collections service center environment
- Assist customers with inquiries regarding the collection process and available programs
- Utilize knowledge base and case management tools to resolve customer issues
- Communicate with the public via telephone, e-mail, or traditional mail
- Participate in occasional onsite work and in-office training as required

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Educational level typically acquired through completion of high school
- One to three years of experience responding to customer inquiries and resolving problems, depending on the level applied for
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Must reside in Michigan or be willing to relocate prior to appointment

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working in a call center customer service environment
- Familiarity with the student loan industry
- Ability to handle phone calls with dissatisfied customers
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Teams, Word, and Excel
- Experience with multi-tasking and prioritizing tasks in a dynamic work environment
