What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform entry-level maintenance and repair tasks in a water or wastewater treatment plant
- Operate equipment and assist in the daily operations of the facility while on assigned shifts
- Train and prepare to advance to the Treatment Plant Operator I level
- Meet established medical and physical standards for the class of work
- Complete any required examinations to qualify for the position
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Graduation from a standard senior high school or successful completion of the General Educational Development (GED) test
- Ability to pass an examination to qualify for the position
- Must meet established medical and physical standards for the role
- Accuracy and truthfulness in the application process are essential
