What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct professional assessments and prioritize treatments based on urgency
- Respond to patient requests and medical advice inquiries through various communication channels
- Review patient documents, including surgeries, tests, and immunization records
- Update patient information in the Electronic Medical Record system
- Communicate significant health status changes to patients' Primary Care Physicians

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Valid NYS Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license
- Minimum of two (2) years' experience in a family practice or urgent care setting
- Experience with Medent (EMR) preferred
- Strong knowledge of chronic disease states and critical thinking skills
- Energetic and effective communication skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in a family-oriented medical practice
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems beyond Medent
- Additional certifications or specialized training in relevant areas of healthcare
