What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct on-farm assessments using Truterra's On-farm LCA GHG Tool to support USDA Climate Smart grant goals
- Collect data for whole farm footprint assessments to meet customer needs and grant deliverables
- Interface with farmers, advisors, and consultants to educate them on grant opportunities and GHG reduction practices
- Develop project management documents and training materials to enhance program effectiveness
- Collaborate with the Truterra team to improve tool functionality and reporting outcomes

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in agriculture or related field
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience in Agriculture, Animal Science, Agricultural Engineering, Environmental Science, or closely related field
- Experience working directly with dairy farmers
- Proficiency in MS Office and strong communication skills
- Project management skills and a self-starter attitude

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 5 or more years of documented experience in dairy systems
- In-depth knowledge of climate change mitigation and adaptation methods for dairy farming
- Experience in conducting dairy whole farm environmental system scenario analysis
