Position: Turnaround Coordinator
Contract Type: Permanent
Location: Manchester Airport (M90 1QX)
Salary: £24,475 to £26,422
Shift Pattern: 37.5 - 5 on 3 off pattern

START DATE: 15th January 2024

PLEASE NOTE: The role is based within an Airport. You will be required to under-go Security Vetting Processes ( including a criminal record check and counter terrorism check ) if you are to be successful for this position.

DHL work in partnership with easyJet at Manchester Airport to provide ground handling support. No two days on our Aviation contract are the same! You will play an integral role in the operation, working to tight timeframes but delivering fantastic results.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

• Securing a safe and effective turnaround from arrival to departure
• Complete all paperwork relating to the aircraft turnaround.
• Ensure compliance in both airline and airport policies
• To consistently deliver the highest possible customer service
• Assisting customers during disruption
• Liaising with third party suppliers

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

• Previous experience in a Turnaround Coordinator role (Desirable)
• Excellent communication skills at all levels
• Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail
• Ability to quickly and accurately react to any given situation
• Work well as part of a team, and as an individual

SECURITY PROCESS TO WORK WITHIN AVIATION AND TRAVEL AT DHL

• Be able to provide 5 years address history
• Be able to provide 5 years reference history (employment/education/benefit claim/character)
• To obtain a full airside ID
