Department Overview:
This position serves as part of the Academics & Career Team within Badger Built. Badger Built is a comprehensive approach to student-athlete personal development. We look at the full life cycle of a student-athlete: before, during, and after their time at Wisconsin. Regardless of how our students are preparing for life after college, we leverage the expertise and support of our staff, alumni, campus, and community partners to help them reach their ultimate goals. Pay rate details: $16 per individual session & $19 per group session for undergraduate students; $18 per individual session & $21 per groups session for graduate studentsSalary/Wage Range/Lump Sum:

Students should have taken the course(s) they would like to tutor at UW-Madison within the past 2 years and received at least a B in the course. If the course was taken at another institution, student will need to provide transcripts within the hiring process to show proficiency in the course. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• Enthusiasm and expertise in UW course material
• Strong communication skills
• Commitment to academic integrity
• Availability for at least one semester, with the option to work 5-15 hours weeklyPosition Summary/Job Duties:
• Provide one-on-one or group sessions weekly
• Adapt to each student’s learning needs
• Document progress in Retain, our report platform
• Attend trainings and follow compliance guidelinesPhysical Demands:
