What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Draft and maintain Statement of Work (SOW) documents for IT projects, ensuring compliance with legal and budgetary standards
- Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of IT projects
- Collaborate with the Finance department to develop and track IT project budgets
- Serve as a communication liaison between IT operations, Finance, Legal, and business areas
- Provide technical training and assistance to program staff on IT tools and project management software

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in Business Administration, Legal Studies, IT Management, Accounting, or a related field
- Minimum of four (4) years of Project Management experience
- Minimum of three (3) years of financial budgeting experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Three or more years of experience developing and processing Statement of Work (SOW) or similar contract documents for IT projects at a state agency in Texas
- Familiarity with state of Texas regulations and statutes applicable to IT procurements
