Business Controller for the Construction sales company, responsible for all FP&A (financial planning and analysis) and business control activities for the UK sales company and for the Region West & South. Supporting and driving cost efficiency and sales support. The role is 80% remote, with some UK and international travel requirements.

Responsibilities & Key Tasks

UK & Ireland

• Monthly Reporting for UK & ROI Construction Division
• Analytical review of business performance, including full sales and margin analysis
• Logistics/Distribution cost control and analysis with external warehouse provider
• Warranty and Rebate provisions and claims
• Overhead cost control, prepayments and accruals
• Leasing activities – BNP & Local Husqvarna Leasing Solution
• Working capital and inventory control
• Leading monthly reviews UK Construction Management Team
• Annual budget process and monthly forecasting
• Liaison with regional WSE & EMAL Divisional Business Controllers
• Ad-hoc business support projects
• Coordinate and drive development of the HCS (financial solution) business in our countries

West & South Region

• Monthly Reporting for WSE & ROI Construction Division
• Analytical review of business performance, including full sales and margin analysis
• Logistics/Distribution cost control and analysis with external warehouse provider
• Drive improvement initiatives on DSO/DIO
• Initiate & Coordinate the Credit Committe process for West & South region
• Support Special Projects

Additional Skills/Qualifications Required

Qualified or Finalist ACA/ACCA/CIMA

Knowledge and experience of Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence software packages

Advanced Excel and PowerPoint presentation skills

Strong analytical and good communication skills

Experience of SAP/JDE ERP systems and Group Reporting packages (AARO)

Project finance lead experience
