- Assisting in the creation of events in MIO
- Co-Op Marketing requests and invoicing
- Supporting stores with the advancing of shows
- Communicating the announcement schedule of events for stores
- Collaborating with the Marketing department to drive event sales across all UK marketing channels
- Communicating with labels and artist management around venue availability and album sales
- Creation of digital event assets
- Supporting the UK Head of Events and Partnerships in sourcing and securing partnerships that fit the Rough Trade brand
- Covering for the UK Head of Events & Partnerships in their absence
- Experience running live events
- Knowledge of grass roots live music venues
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- A strong team player and a fast learner
- Ability to work effectively independently
- Great customer service skills
- Knowledge of Photoshop
Job Role: UK Events and Partnerships Executive
Basis: Full-time, Hybrid-remote
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday
Location: London or Nottingham. 3 office days per week. 2 remote.
We have an exciting opportunity for a hard working and passionate music lover to come and join us in the capacity of UK Events and Partnerships Executive. This role is full-time, and is for 37.5 hours per week.Working at Rough Trade is a unique opportunity to join one of the largest independent music retailers in the world, and to work in a vibrant and exciting bar and events environment where every day is truly different. You will be responsible for helping to book and run the unique events calendar across all of our Rough Trade UK stores and will report to the UK Head of Events and Partnerships.
Responsibilities
Required Skills and Experience
This role is hybrid-remote and will be based in either our Nottingham or London offices.The successful candidate will need to regularly travel to our stores in order to support with events.
Due to the nature of the role, candidates must be over 18 years of age.
Additional availability across busy periods will be required.
