What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Underwrite new and renewal business while utilizing The Zurich Way of Underwriting Framework
- Proactively seek renewal and new account opportunities, identifying growth prospects
- Negotiate terms and conditions with agents/brokers/customers to close deals
- Serve as the key contact for assigned target accounts, managing a qualified list of opportunities
- Update required systems with details of broker/client visits and account status within specified time frames

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or Equivalent and 3+ years of experience in Underwriting or Market Facing area, or 6+ years in Claims or Underwriting Support area
- Knowledge of business lines and legal/regulatory guidelines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong understanding of time restraints for quotes on new and renewal business
- Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice with relevant experience may also qualify

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree
- CPCU designation
- Advanced knowledge of Umbrella/Excess Casualty product lines
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong presentation and results-oriented skills
