We are looking for talented University Graduates! Kick-start your career with our Focus-Track Graduate Programme within the CFO division.

Our Graduate Programme supports your individual journey to unleash your full potential. We offer you three rotations in different teams, on- and off-the-job training, and the opportunity to start building your own network. Each rotation is designed to provide you with in‐depth knowledge and a sound foundation to perform in your focus area and beyond. One of these rotations will be an international assignment, enabling you to work abroad for a period of months.

Join the CFO division and become part of the DCFO Corporate Functions team in Zurich.
Our Focus-Track provides you with a holistic experience across Julius Baer’s finance division. Our team is responsible for providing a broad range of services mainly:
- Performance analyses of Corporate Functions and deliver the insights to the Group CFO and other members of the management team
- Finance business partner to the client facing organization (Client Strategy & Experience) and amongst other activities, drive strategic finance cross divisional initiatives
- Define key metrics to measure financial and non-financial impact of technology change on the bank's investments.

YOUR CHALLENGE

• Creating senior management presentations on strategic finance topics

• Preparing enhanced finance analytics to help steer executive decisions

• Financial assessment of business cases to support divisional management

• Applying data science skills for digitization of processes; developing, and maintaining Dashboards

• Project management and collaboration with various stakeholders across the bank

• Observing and understanding Swiss and international wealth management market trends and developments

• Understanding the general bank business model (e.g., sources of revenues, costs, investment opportunities), strategy, and steering measures

• Analyzing the key balance sheet and financial performance metrics of a Private Bank

• Contributing to strategic and organizational initiatives as well as projects

YOUR PROFILE

• Master's degree from a university or university of applied sciences with above-average grades ideally in finance, banking, economics, data science, business administration or accounting (graduation max. 12 months ago)

• Initial practical experience in the financial industry and expertise in banking products and financial markets is a plus

• Strong analytical and quantitative modelling skills

• Excellent Excel and data science skills

• Programming skills (e.g., VBA/Python/SQL/R) as well as data visualization / business intelligence tools knowledge (e.g., Tableau) is preferred

• Proficient in Microsoft Office

• Team player and professional interaction with stakeholders

• Very good communication and presentation skills

• Independent, resilient, and team-oriented personality

• Entrepreneurial mindset, coupled with the willingness to take responsibility

• Fluent in English, German is a plus and other languages an advantage

• Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) an advantage or willingness to obtain it

• Eligibility to work in the country where you apply for the position
