      SUMMARY

      The Director of Integration Test & Deployment is responsible for leadership over the Integration Test & Deployment department in support of CAE USA and corporate strategic objectives. Must have leadership capabilities for technical management of simulation and training programs, with detailed knowledge of integration, test and deployment practices and methodologies.

      ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

      · Accountable for ensuring Integration, Test and Deployment team establishes staffing supply and maintains critical skills, and

      coordinates with Chief Engineers to ensure workforce planning aligns with the business needs

      · Previous experience in a functional leadership role and with proposals, bidding, EACs, and risk & opportunity management

      · Detailed, hands-on experience across the full product lifecycle from requirements, design, development, integration, test and

      deployment

      · Must be a focused, driven, milestone-oriented leader with the demonstrated ability to direct teams, coordinate with other

      department leaders, IPT’s and ensures production of high-quality products with flawless execution

      · Responsible for resource management within Integration, Test and Deployment, including training and career development

      · Provide a highly engaged work environment for department leaders and team members

      · Supervisory and performance responsibility for direct reports, and oversight of performance of secondary reports

      · Continuous improvement of department performance through processes improvement, tool identification and development, and

      other initiatives

      · Oversight of execution in compliance with company policies and procedures

      · Active communication and status reporting of all above items with Engineering Director and Senior Leadership

      QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

      · Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Aerospace, or a related field or equivalent experience

      · Minimum 10 years of experience working on DoD programs, preferably in Military Simulation & Training

      · Sufficient understanding of business concepts to effectively manage budget and schedule performance

      · Understanding of simulation hardware and software architecture, components, and technology

      · Experience with Systems Engineering, Hardware / Software Integration and product testing

      · Eligible for a US DoD Security Clearance

      · Excellent written and verbal communication skills

      · Strong motivation, leadership, and team building skills

      · Ability to effectively manage technical teams

      · Excellent problem solving, situational assessment, and conflict resolution skills

      · Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously through proper delegation skills and selective personal

      involvement

      · Ability to motivate and facilitate effective change

      · Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role.

      SECURITY RESPONSIBILITIES

      Must comply with all company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures. Personally responsible for proper marking and handling of all information and materials, in any form. Shall not divulge any information, or afford access, to other employees not having a need-to-know. Shall not divulge information outside company without management approval. All government and proprietary information will be accessed and stored electronically on company provided resources. · Incumbent must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance.

      WORK ENVIRONMENT

      · This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

      PHYSICAL DEMANDS

      The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

      · Must be able to travel both domestic and internationally.

      · Must be familiar with and be able to work on simulation training devices.

      · Must be able to work overtime and off-shift.
