What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct business development activities to grow the USA teams
- Prepare proposals for mining services projects, including cost estimates and timelines
- Provide geotechnical services for the Mine Waste unit, including modeling, analysis, design, and investigations
- Carry out conceptual/pre-feasibility/feasibility design studies for tailings and mine waste facilities
- Coordinate with clients, suppliers, and third parties to achieve project objectives
- Manage projects, including staff and contractor allocation, work scheduling, and cost control
- Direct field activities and perform site inspections
- Review and interpret monitoring information from geotechnical instrumentation programs
- Analyze data and prepare technical reports
- Continuously develop technical skills and share knowledge with others

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in Geotechnical, Civil, or Geological Engineering (post-graduate degree preferred)
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in Geotechnical engineering, preferably in a consulting engineering environment
- 5 years of experience with Tailings, Dam, and Mine waste
- PE license required
- Experience managing engineering teams
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Valid driver's license and vehicle
