      Position Summary...

      In this role you will help lead social for the 8th largest retailer in the US, orchestrating how millions of devoted members experience our brand online. Our members aren't shy about telling us how much they love us (and occasionally what they might change — we actually listen!). You'll drive our content strategy, lead our passionate community management team, and transform agency briefs into groundbreaking campaigns that build both brand love and business results.

      In this leadership role, you'll shape our most visible marketing channel—one that's directly tied to our ambitious growth goals. You'll be the primary content visionary, translating our brand territories into compelling social-first narratives that resonate with members and drive measurable business impact.

      We're looking for someone:

      • Who can architect a content ecosystem that converts awareness into consideration, turning our 99% awareness into action

      • Who thinks strategically about social as a business driver first and a creative canvas second (though we absolutely want both)

      • Who can lead a team to balance brand voice with authentic community engagement, recognizing that our super fans are our best marketers

      • Who can translate complex business goals into clear creative direction for agencies and internal teams

      • Who sees the challenger brand opportunity and knows how to turn our 20% share of voice into our competitive advantage

      You'll Make an Impact By:

      • Leading our community management team and setting the standard for member engagement that differentiates us from competitors

      • Serving as the primary content strategist, ensuring all social campaigns embody our brand territories while driving business objectives

      • Guiding agency partners from creative brief to final execution, pushing for work that elevates our brand in the social landscape

      • Developing innovative approaches to content that help us compete beyond our share of voice, maximizing impact through creativity

      • Overseeing the strategy and creative execution of our most important social media campaigns—challenging world-class agencies to deliver their best work

      • Supporting a content measurement framework that demonstrates social's impact on consideration and purchase intent

      • Partnering with the Director to evolve our social strategy as platforms and member behavior change

      • Creating a cohesive approach across paid and organic social that maximizes efficiency and effectiveness

      • Mentoring team members to develop future social media leaders within the organization

      You'll Sweep Us Off Our Feet If You Have:

      • 7+ years of experience in social media strategy, content development, or digital marketing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role

      • Proven success developing content strategies that drive both brand metrics and business results

      • Experience leading community management teams and establishing best practices for engagement

      • Strong portfolio of social-first campaigns that demonstrate creative thinking and platform expertise

      • Deep understanding of how paid and organic social work together to create holistic customer journeys

      • Experience translating brand strategies into platform-specific content approaches

      • Track record of successful agency management and the ability to provide clear creative direction

      • Excellent analytical skills with experience connecting social metrics to broader business outcomes

      • History of mentoring and developing team members into high performers

      The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00

      Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
