What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Facilitate the resolution of disputes between customers and investor-owned transmission and distribution utilities
- Review interconnection policies to identify opportunities for dispute reduction
- Convene stakeholder groups to enhance communication among interconnection stakeholders
- Track and report on interconnection disputes and outcomes
- Participate in other MPUC proceedings and provide analysis of utility filings

What is Required (Qualifications):
- A degree in engineering, law, public policy, or a related discipline
- Technical expertise related to interconnection and interconnection procedures
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Attention to detail and the ability to organize and analyze information
- Initiative, self-direction, and ability to maintain professional relationships with stakeholders

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience facilitating dispute resolution with positive outcomes
- Knowledge of the Maine and New England energy systems and markets
- Experience convening and facilitating productive stakeholder processes
- Knowledge of technical, operational, and policy issues in the utility and energy sectors
- Two or more years of relevant experience in a similar field
