As a Package Operator/Warehouse Person for the Mill Department (Packaging and Shipping of Salt Products) your responsibilities will include:

• Support and take responsibility to perform all job duties in a safe manner, following all safe work practices and safety policies, follow all quality processes, and ensure all environmental policies are adhered to daily.
• Tasks such as cleaning, sweeping, sanitizing, cleaning bins, unloading package material, supplying fill stations with packing materials, labels, or boxes, making trash bales, etc.
• Filling paper bags with salt, guiding them through a sewing head to seal them, and palletizing the finished products
• Driving a forklift to move product in the facility

Assisting workers of higher classification in performing their tasks.

This is a 24/7 Union Environment, Days/Hours/Shift worked is determined by seniority.
