      UX Strategist, Mid

      Key Role:

      Serve as the user’s advocate throughout the product design and development process, providing critical user-centric insight that informs product strategy. Apply specific functional knowledge, including working or general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance, and review or guide activities of more junior employees.

      Basic Qualifications:

      • 2+ years of experience with UX design
      • Experience supporting user research and user testing methodologies
      • Experience supporting client meetings and user research sessions, creating client and internal presentations
      • Experience with prototyping tools, including Adobe XD, Axure, Sketch, Figma, Balsamiq, or InVision
      • Knowledge of best practices for information architecture and interaction design, the user-centered design process, and UX principles and techniques
      • Ability to provide and articulate sample UX work
      • Ability to obtain a security clearance
      • Bachelor’s degree

      Additional Qualifications:

      • Experience working across a creative team of researchers, designers, developers, and data analysts
      • Experience with facilitation, consensus-building among stakeholders, and change management
      • Knowledge of CX measurement and strategy
      • Knowledge of working with teams throughout a software development process, including Agile, Waterfall, or Lean
      • Ability to multi-task, contributing to multiple projects simultaneously
      • Possession of excellent interpersonal and analytical skills
      • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills, including storytelling
      • UX Certification

      Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,400.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
