      We are seeking a Sydney based junior UX/UI designer to join Deloitte's Software Group’s design team to create best in class experiences – option to WFH.

      What will your typical day look like?

      Your day-to-day will be diverse but richly rewarding. You will build relationships with a wide range of SME’s, Internal / external stakeholders, and Asset Directors. Working closely with other members of our design team to support the development of new products and services across the business – working from initial concept, through to support of commercial build. You will prepare and facilitate workshops to gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with project teams. Conduct user research and testing to validate concepts and develop low, mid and high-fidelity wireframes and prototypes. You will work closely with our ‘GEL’ Design System and create new patterns for the design library. A key part of the role will be to promote HCD and Design Thinking methodologies across the entire business to drive a design lead approach.

      Reporting directly to our Design Lead, the successful candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, be highly collaborative, self-motivated and have a desire for continued growth.

      The Software Group is responsible for leading the strategic design and execution of a critical pillar in Deloitte's transformation agenda - software enablement to help our clients shape their future, using technology as a driving force. The strategy is focused on identifying, selecting, and developing technology asset investments ("assets") that deepen client relationships whilst complementing the services Deloitte delivers to clients and driving a technology-led transformation of our business through software-enable services.

      As a junior designer, you will be part of a national team and Deloitte's global asset community, a group of highly skilled and passionate professionals committed to transforming our business and our clients' business.

      You are a passionate designer ready to solve complex problems. You are a self-starter who is energetic and confident. You love to collaborate with others and are not scared to ask lots of questions.

      The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate:

      • UX capabilities / process
      • Portfolio of UI projects
      • Minimum of 1+ years industry experience, within a top-tier consulting firm or reputable digital, media, or software company
      • Experience working within a UX team or with a UX lead
      • Experience working on B2B or complex web applications
      • High proficiency in Figma and FigJam
      • Ability to turn complex business problems into simple and engaging experiences
      • Experience working with Design Systems a bonus
      • Experience with Human Centred Design and Design Thinking methodologies
      • Knowledge of Lean & Agile methodologies
      • Engaging presentation style and visual communication
      • Strong collaborative mindset
      • Experience working with Data and / or Data Visualisation a bonus

      Nice to have

      • Masters in Interaction Design
