      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Develop and implement equity-focused strategies to improve vaccine access for underserved populations
      - Organize and lead discussions to enhance staff awareness of health equity issues related to vaccines
      - Serve as a trusted advisor to office leaders on operationalizing equity across programs
      - Collaborate with subject matter experts to utilize accurate data for public health decision-making
      - Build and strengthen partnerships with local health jurisdictions, Tribal Nations, and community organizations

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Four (4) years of experience developing, coordinating, and implementing equity-focused programs in public health or related fields, OR a bachelor's degree in public health or related field and two (2) years of relevant experience
      - Experience engaging with historically marginalized communities to promote culturally appropriate practices
      - Experience working with internal and external partners, including community organizations and local health jurisdictions
      - Experience providing consultation on equity, diversity, and inclusion to management or leaders
      - Experience assessing equity-focused initiatives and recommending action items based on evaluations

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - 2 years of experience working in a state or local immunization public health program
      - 2 years of experience in an infectious disease or communicable disease program
      - Experience working on health equity initiatives in public health or healthcare programs
      - Experience writing, executing, and monitoring contracts
      - Working knowledge of CDC recommended vaccine schedules for children and adults
