What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Analyze microwave remote sensing systems and their performance
- Perform pre-flight specifications and characterizations of microwave radiometer systems
- Conduct calibration and validation of space-based microwave radiometric data
- Handle and analyze large-volume data sets
- Apply statistical analysis to interpret and validate remote sensing data

What is Required (Qualifications):
- ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE
- Bachelor's degree (or higher: M.S., Ph.D., or equivalent experience) in Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Atmospheric Science (Meteorology), Physical Oceanography, Physics, Computer Science, Statistics, or related disciplines
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages and/or tools: FORTRAN, C/C++, Python, UNIX shell scripting, Matlab, or IDL
- Strong analytical skills with experience handling and interpreting large data sets

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Expertise in microwave radiative transfer
- Knowledge of microwave radiometer design and calibration methodologies
- Background in statistical analysis of scientific data
