      Value & Access Lead - Associate Director (North)

      Reporting Into: Associate Vice President - Pricing, Reimbursement and Access Hub

      In this vital leadership role, you will lead a team accountable for delivering optimal Market Access of Lilly’s Portfolio of promoted medicines in Diabetes, Pain and Auto-immune therapy areas. You will be responsible for working closely with the PRA Managers and Lead Team to develop and implement strategies to navigate the complex landscape of reimbursement, pricing, and market access for Lillys innovative pipeline. The Team leads on securing and maintaining access, as well as removing barriers and accelerating access through working in partnership with ICS’s so they can deliver on population health improvements, reduce inequalities, and drive efficiencies.

      Key Responsibilities

      Team Management/Stakeholders

      • Lead and provide guidance, goals, objectives, and expectations to a team of Value and Access Managers
      • Through close collaboration with the PRA lead team support the Value and Access Manager to set clear, prioritised goals and tactics
      • Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and support professional development opportunities for team members.
      • Collaborate with external and develop relationships while maintaining contact with internal stakeholders, including sales & medical teams to gather market insights and customer feedback to inform market access strategies.

      Strategy Development and Implementation

      • Develop and execute market access strategies to optimize product reimbursement and access to target markets.
      • Conduct comprehensive market assessments to identify opportunities and challenges for product reimbursement.
      • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including pricing, marketing, medical affairs, and regulatory, entering market which is aligned with the product lifecycle.

      Reimbursement and Pricing

      • Work closely with pricing team to reimburse landscape.
      • Feed in insights to support the development of strategies and make recommendations based on market dynamics, competitive analysis, and health economic data.
      • Monitor reimbursement policies, guidelines, and pricing regulations to ensure compliance and identify potential risks or opportunities.

      Health Economic Analysis

      • Evaluate health economic data and evidence to demonstrate the value and cost-effectiveness of Lilly Medicines.
      • Conduct health economic modelling and cost-effectiveness analyses to support negotiations at sub-national level.

      Market Access Training and Education

      • Provide training and education to the market access team and other cross-functional teams on market access strategies, reimbursement processes, and policies.
      • Stay updated on market access trends, regulatory changes, and healthcare policy developments to ensure the team remains informed and proactive.

      Preferred Qualifications

      Extensive healthcare experience demonstrating collaborative leadership and engagement at multiple system levels is desirable.
