Job Description

- Provides internal guest service by preparing and conducting internal bank in and bank out transactions, processing actual and dropped tips, preparing bank deposits for approval, verifying count and armored transport funds, preparing checks on demand for appropriate approval, sending vault paperwork to appropriate departments, and processing jackpot transactions.
- Provides accounting of Cash Cage transactions during shift by processing table game fills and credits, completing internal guest exchanges, balancing window inventory, and preparing and redeeming slot machine tickets and balancing reports.
- Provides guest service as needed by providing external guest service, furnishing guests with game and promotional information, instruction and assistance, performing cash, chip, coin, voucher, credit card, and check transactions, and conducting code 9 transactions.
- Provides administrative support by preparing and processing W2-G Tax forms, calculating poker jackpots, updating marker files, recording transactions mandated by Title 31 in logbook and computer, and performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- 2 years of high-volume cash handling experience
- Guest service experience
- Banking experience
- 1-year casino cage cashier experience
- Ability to appear for work on time
- Ability to interact effectively with team members and guests
- Ability to communicate effectively in the English language
- Ability to maintain professionalism and composure
- Ability to complete forms and documents
- Ability to understand and follow verbal directives and written directions
- Ability to accept constructive criticism
- Ability to count cash and make change in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to recognize counterfeit monies and chips
- Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations
- Ability to walk and stand for up to eight hours at a time
- Ability to work in a smoking environment
- Record-keeping and organizational skills
- Ability to provide direction and guidance to lower-level cashiers
- Detail-orientation
