- Req#: 1544923
- Work closely with the rest of the VM organization to set project goals and prioritization for new SCE initiatives and programs.
- Lead cross-functional and inter-departmental teams to achieve project objectives; facilitate meetings, presentations, and discussions to identify strategies for continuous improvement and communicate status updates while guiding peers for ongoing projects to meet delivery targets.
- Perform project management functions including development of project scope, plans, schedule, budget, resource requirements, and status tracking along with business impact assessments and risk analysis with mitigation plans.
- Establishing success criteria and KPI’s and monitoring goals for new programs to ultimately be adopted into operations or discontinued.
- Resolve issues and ensure task completion by establishing priorities and resolving conflicts with stakeholders.
- Seven or more years of project management experience including ownership of scope, cost, and schedule.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in applicable business or technical field.
- Experience with Utility Vegetation Management (or other utility operations) policies and procedures.
- Project Management Certification.
- Ability to engage in continuous learning, encourage teamwork, manage confidential information, drive change through influence, work with integrity, and the ability to foster a positive work environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills using a variety of media as needed for appropriate audiences.
- This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage.

As a part of the VM team, you’ll be responsible for staying current and knowledgeable of the business processes, employees, objectives, and challenges. You will translate strategic initiatives into implementation projects that may need to process changes, program strategy, and system development within existing work management tools. You will manage multiple moderate scale projects and initiatives having safety, operational, and financial impacts on SCE and VM goals and strategic plans.
