      Job Description:

      Responsible for the overall management of a service segment of significant scope and complexity at the country, region or worldwide level. Includes but is not limited to development, implementation and governance of product service or solution portfolio lifecycle management, revenue growth programs through the appropriate routes to market. Includes but is not limited to achieving revenue, profit and/or TCE goals for that segment/entity.

      Supports overall Vendor Management of third party outsourced HW/SW/Labor Professional and Operational Services within HPE Operations. Responsible for the overall management of a service segment of significant scope and complexity at the country or region level. Applies developed subject matter knowledge to solve common and complex business issues and recommends appropriate alternatives. Works on problems of diverse complexity and scope. May act as a project lead providing direction to team activities, facilitates information validation and team decision making process. Exercises independent judgment to identify a solution. Ability to handle unique situations. May seek advice in order to make decisions on complex business issues.

      Job specifics/responsibilities:

      • Follow established guidelines and procedures.
      • Support activities within specific area of scope and/or geographic responsibility.
      • Responsible for the overall management of vendor delivered services, monitoring, governance and control of respective BU responsibilities, policy and process compliance.
      • Monitor product support business performance of vendors and help identify when corrective action is required.
      • Collaborate with country/ region/ worldwide regarding service and support planning, implementation and performance.
      • Report on business performance, partner on recommendations/ solutions to drive business improvements.

      Key deliverables/accountabilities:

      • Manage Suppliers/Vendor operational relationship and compliance understanding vendor capabilities to match delivery requirements with cost-effective engagement
      • Perform and manage tasks based on various projects, programs and established processes
      • Proactively manages Purchase Order (PO) renewals
      • ORC SharePoint tool administration, this can include timely PO placement in various HPE Procurement tools (e.g., Ariba), overall vetting to ensure data accuracy, coordination between teams, management of multiple internal tools (SFDC) and SharePoints
      • Support After-the-Fact (ATF) reduction programs for assigned vendors/ countries or strategies
      • Provide support by overarching vendor issues, when engaged by the country or regional leads
      • Support Savings interlock processes and assist with CCOW reduction efforts
      • Utilize recommended HPE Supplier catalogues
      • Support Global Procurement and Vendor Management engagement, e.g., for off-the-shelf services, customized services quotation, SOW negotiation. Following established processes, tools and policies
      • Provide support on Supplier/Vendor SOW, ensure SOW is correctly filled in following established guidelines
      • Provide guidance to meet contract obligations, to evaluate proposal risks pertaining to contract negotiation with vendor, pricing, contract T&C, RFP, HPE vendor strategy and legal risk
      • Liaison with Global Procurement, Finance, Pursuit, HPE Operations teams and support organizations to ensure vendor and business process compliance
      • Analyze reports and provide metrics, routinely reviews KPI metrics and ensure corrective action plans are in place as needed

      Education and professional experience required:

      • Typically, University degree or equivalent work experience
      • Typically, 5+ years’ experience in related business, procurement/ administrative/ project support role or relevant work experience
      • Experience in customer/ vendor relationship management role is good to have

      Other requirements:

      • Fluent in written and verbal English
      • Organization skills, accuracy, agility
      • Moderate level of planning, project management and change management skills
      • Negotiating and conflict management skills
      • Problem detection and analysis of root cause
      • High analytical skills
      • Good communication skills, proper phone and email etiquette
      • Moderate knowledge of IT and services industry of the company's organization, policies, services offerings, tools, and routes to market
      • General technical understanding of HPE products
      • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
      • Willingness to cooperate with others and work to the greater good at a regional and WW level
      • Creative thinker

      Technical skills:

      • Very good knowledge of MS Office (MS Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
      • Intermediate skills in MS SharePoint, SAP and/or SFDC is an advantage
      • Knowledge of HPE Procurement tools is an advantage
