What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Own the full-cycle recruitment process: source, engage, screen, interview, and hire top veterinarian talent
- Partner with hospital and operations leadership to define hiring needs and provide guidance throughout the selection process
- Develop and manage job ads that reflect each hospital's personality and showcase what makes the employer special
- Keep organized records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and ensure timely communication with candidates
- Represent the employer at career fairs, virtual events, and veterinary school programs
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Based in New York or Ontario, with a deep understanding of the Canadian market
- 2-4 years of recruiting experience, preferably in multi-site healthcare (veterinary, dental, or human medicine)
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to build relationships
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in veterinary recruiting or within the veterinary industry
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
- Proven ability to build long-term relationships with candidates and associations
- Experience in developing creative job advertising strategies
