Extensive hospitality industry experience is essential, with a strong background in both resort and condominium operations. Proven success in managing financial functions across diverse property portfolios, including owned and managed assets.
Minimum of 10 years in progressive financial leadership roles, demonstrating expertise in accounting, financial analysis, strategic planning, and business process optimization within a fast-paced, complex organizational structure.
Demonstrated proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and performance evaluation, with a track record of driving profitability, improving operational efficiency, and supporting capital and investment initiatives.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline from an accredited institution is required.
Candidates with CFA or CPA credentials, or a background in public accounting, are strongly preferred.

The Vice President of Finance plays a pivotal leadership role in shaping and executing OUTRIGGER Hospitality Group’s financial strategy across owned and affiliated properties in Hawaii and the APAC region. Reporting to the CFO, the VPF provides strategic financial oversight in key areas including performance evaluation, asset and capital management, reporting, liquidity planning, and investment strategy.
The Vice President of Finance leads asset management efforts by partnering with executive leadership, property General Managers, and Directors of Finance to enhance profitability and maximize returns on OHG’s investments. They also cultivate and support third-party owner relationships for managed properties.
In capital management, the Vice President of Finance collaborates with the CFO to ensure optimal liquidity and financial flexibility across properties. This includes cash flow planning, facilitating capital calls, and managing inter-company transfers.
This role also ensures the integrity and timeliness of external reporting in coordination with Corporate Accounting and Finance teams. As a key contributor to the annual and five-year strategic planning process, the Vice President of Finance helps shape long-term financial forecasting and budgeting.
Additionally, the Vice President of Finance plays an integral role in identifying financial risks and driving risk mitigation strategies, while actively supporting OHG’s growth through investment analysis, underwriting, and development planning in coordination with external consultants.
