      ABOUT THE COURT

      Los Angeles Superior Court is the largest unified trial court in the United States. Its 580 judges and commissioners work in one of the 40 facilities within the Court's 12 judicial districts and are supported by more than 4,500 full-time Court employees.       ABOUT THE POSITION

      As a Video Production Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our video production team. You will work closely with producers, editors, and other team members to ensure the smooth execution of projects. The ideal candidate is highly organized, has excellent communication skills, and is passionate about the video production industry.

      Some responsibilities will include:

      • Operate audio and video equipment, such as teleprompters, video cameras, projectors, and switch boards.
      • Travel to different court locations and conference sites throughout the county, moving and setting up production equipment as required.
      • Perform heavy lifting tasks and efficiently set up production equipment, demonstrating physical capability and attention to detail in ensuring equipment readiness.

      MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

      To qualify, you must meet the following requirement at the time of application:


      60 semester (90 quarter) units from an accredited college or university and one (1) year of video production support experience.

      Note: Credit for experience is given based on a 40-hour workweek. Part-time experience is credited on a part-time ratio, i.e., working 20 hours per week for two months equals one month of experience. No additional credit is given for overtime.

      DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

      The ideal candidate will possess the following desirable qualifications:

      • Previous video production experience preferred.
      • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
      • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
      • Familiar with virtual platforms (TEAMS, Zoom).
