What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Create detailed system drawings and sophisticated building models (BIMs) using computer-aided drafting systems
- Schedule and coordinate design meetings with architects, engineers, and contractors
- Communicate and resolve conflicts identified during the design and construction process
- Perform quality assurance/quality control checks on 3-D models
- Update models to reflect as-built conditions and ensure accuracy

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Working knowledge of 3-D drafting software
- 3-5 years of trade-specific experience in computer-aided drafting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to deadlines and labor estimates
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 2-3 years of experience specifically in computer-aided drafting
- Proven ability to resolve complex design issues
- Experience with Navisworks or similar software
- Familiarity with construction processes and standards
- Demonstrated self-starter mentality
